What is our event about?

We care about climate change and wish to offer a fun way for people to mobilize for the climate.

Through our our event, we want to bring fun, help people doing their (first?) personal carbon assessment and invite them to chose one action.

For the event itself, we want to bring as many people as possible to cycle together and show at the heart of Europe that people want change. Are you on board?

About us

We’re the team behind the Climate Classic, a cycling event on September 6 that brings people together for climate action. Our goals? To inspire personal climate commitments, celebrate Belgium’s diversity through our participants and route and highlight climate solutions during the event

We already have a partner organization for social media planning and content, a website with a defined corporate identity, and the support of a communications specialist.

Instagram GURU

Community manager

Do you love engaging with communities on Instagram, building a brand, and creating meaningful conversations?

Cycling4Climate Belgium is looking for an Instagram Community Manager to help grow our online presence and inspire climate action!

Your role

You are based in Belgium
Take over and grow our online presence on Instagram
- Create content starting from the suggested marketing plan and templates
- Grow our Instagram community by engaging with followers through comments, DMs, and stories
- Coordinate with the team to ensure we respond to key interactions, tag relevant people or organisations
Provide strategic insights to refine our marketing plan
- Experiment with content ideas, analyse Instagram insights, and help shape our engagement strategy.

Are you a creative marketing expert with an eye for design?

Cycling4Climate Belgium is looking for a Marketing Lead volunteer to help lead our marketing presence and ensure top-notch promotion of our Climate Classic event and
inspire climate action!

Your role

You are based in Belgium
Ensure consistent, high-quality promotion of our event
- Coordinate the team content across marketing channels (LinkedIn and Instagram) following the marketing plan
- Design eye-catching visuals
- Adapt and enhance content from our marketing plan & templates
Provide strategic insights to refine our marketing plan
- Analyse marketing impact and bring creative ideas to boost visibility

Cycling4Climate is run by volunteers

All of us share a love for cycling and fighting climate change. This is a flexible internship/volunteer position requiring approximately 6 hours per week until September 2025. We welcome applications from academic internships and are open to hear from your institution’s requirements to make it work.
